Unstitched: A Celebration of the Saree
The Asian Art Museum and EnActe Arts present "Unstitched," a visual and hands-on experience that explores the thousands‑year history of the saree.
Both beautiful and practical, the saree has quietly shaped the story of South Asia. It has clothed generations through ancient civilizations, colonial rule, and modern times, and today stands as a global symbol of culture and style.
