SWANA Community Chef Talk & Tasting

Connect with critically acclaimed local chefs over dishes from Southwest Asia and North Africa.

General Admission

After earning rave reviews from SF Chronicle food critic Mackenzie Chung Fegan (“I eat at S.F.’s best restaurants. This dining experience is the one I look forward to all year”), Tenderloin home chefs make their award-winning dishes available to the public for the first time at this special event. Enjoy flavors and stories served up by immigrant chefs whose cooking reflects both the culture of their native region — often a cuisine for which few local restaurants exist — and their own personal journey. Just as Rave into the Future connects audiences to West Asian culture through music and the dance floor, this event offers a delicious opportunity to engage with SWANA culture through food.

Presented in partnership with the Chinatown Community Development Center.
