Make a unique art piece using sashiko, a traditional hand-sewing technique.
In this workshop we will explore sashiko, a striking Japanese hand-sewing technique traditionally used to mend textiles or to create a patch. Requiring no special equipment other than a sewing needle and thread, it is a centuries-old embroidery technique that not only strengthens but intricately adorns fabric, bringing it new life.
All materials provided. Instructions will be sent to all registered participants in advance of the workshop. Space is limited; reservations are encouraged.
