From fierce warriors and dakinis to peaceful and benevolent bodhisattvas, goddesses play important and prominent roles in all the Asian religions. Whether fertile earth maidens, nurturing mothers, wrathful avengers, or wise advisors, these deities provide for their supplicants and followers. In this virtual lecture given by one of our docents, you will explore the myriad and fascinating depictions of female deities throughout Asia.

This one hour lecture by one of our museum docents is followed by a half-hour Q&A.
