Gay Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA) Theatre: Celebrating Pride

Join us for an evening of spoken word, short plays, and storytelling monologues from the Gay Asian Pacific Alliance (GAPA) Theatre. A significant cultural component of the GAPA Theatre is its intergenerational collective of writers, performers, and storytellers. Their mission is to mentor and support emerging queer and trans Asian Pacific Islander artists to tell their stories. 

GAPA Theatre’s past productions have included Citizen Queer (2018), Celebrating Intimacy (2018), Prelude: Songs and Stories from the Heart (in partnership with the GAPA Men’s Chorus, 2019), and Finding Your Voice (part of the Asian & Pacific Islander Cultural Center’s United States of Asian America Festival, 2019).
