Visually Descriptive Virtual Tour of Awaken: A Tibetan Buddhist Journey Toward Enlightenment
Join us on Zoom for a virtual tour of Awaken: A Tibetan Buddhist Journey Toward Enlightenment designed for blind and visually impaired participants.
Asian Art Museum docent Michelle Wilcox leads this highly visually descriptive tour of the shuttered exhibition, discussing selected artworks to illustrate the origins of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and how art aids devotees on their journey to Enlightenment.
Sighted participants are also welcome to join this program, which will guide everyone to “see” the complexity of this art form.
Login will be provided in your confirmation email under the “Important Information” header.
