Feel the pulse of Toolbox Percussion, one of the world’s leading contemporary percussion ensembles. Led by Artistic Director Louis Siu, the Hong Kong-based collective explores themes of cultural diversity, sustainability, and social change in a site-specific, immersive performance of contemporary compositions for marimba, vibraphone, bamboo, and various found objects. Featured works include premieres from Austin Yip and Ken Ueno as well as classics from Philip Glass and Steve Reich.

Percussive arts and performance collective Toolbox Percussion serves as a creative incubator, driving percussive arts programming in Hong Kong since 2012. Through ambitious and innovative music projects, Toolbox Percussion promotes cultural exchange and collaboration; nurtures artists via new creative challenges; and empowers audiences to discover versatility and wonder in the daily soundscapes around them.
