Nightscapes: Nowruz
Join us for a festive celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, filled with flowers, music, and dancing.
سال نو مبارک (sale-e no mobarak)! Nowruz or ”new day” takes place on the first day of spring, and is a time for rebirth, renewal, and growth. Gather at our haft-sin table to enjoy music, dance, stories, and treats.
5–8 PM | Lavash will provide a sampling of Persian teas and baklava
5:15–5:45 PM | Storytelling
5:45–6:30 PM | Performance by Marjan Vahdat
6:30-7:15 PM | Floral demonstration and haft-sin table by La Lavande Floral Studio
6:30–7:00 PM | Storytelling
7:15–7:45 PM | Performance by Ballet Afsaneh
All programs are free with museum general admission. Space and refreshments are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
