About Mahjong Movement
Presented by the Delta Chinatown Initiative and Chinatown Renaissance, the Mahjong Movement aims to bring people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures together through this communal game. No game is more representative of Chinese American culture than Mahjong: the Chinese American roots of its popularity were forged during the 1950s and 1960s with the rise of suburbanization.
