The Asian Art Museum invites members for a first look at Qi Baishi: Inspiration in Ink before it opens to the public.

View our newest exhibition and enjoy a special opening celebration. Traveling to the Asian Art Museum from the Beijing Fine Art Academy on the 160th anniversary of the artist’s birth, Qi Baishi: Inspiration in Ink provides a closer look at this important figure in the history of art.

10:30 AM | Opening program and ceremony
2 PM | Public docent tour in English
2 PM | Musical performance by Melody of China
3–4 PM | Ink painting workshop led by Le Xianghai, Beijing Fine Arts Academy artist
4 PM | Public docent tour in Mandarin
