Reserve Tickets

To celebrate his spectacular first solo exhibition in San Francisco, Takashi Murakami has created a special surprise gift for you!

Guests who purchase a ticket to Murakami: Monsterized  for Thursday, Feb. 8 are eligible to receive a free collectible trading card featuring Murakami’s signature imagery.

To redeem this offer, show your ticket to museum staff at the exhibition entrance outside the Yang Yamazaki Pavilion; staff will scan your ticket and present your gift. Each person may receive one trading card for each paid adult, student, or senior ticket; members receive one trading card per membership household.

Part of a limited production of approximately 30,000 collectible cards, these cards are being distributed at the Asian Art Museum before anywhere else in the world, and as a giveaway exclusively on this occasion. (On a quest to find a particular card, or looking to connect with other collectors? The museum is hosting a trading area in Bowes Court where you can meet up and swap cards.)

Don’t miss this chance to take home a collector’s item from Takashi Murakami, the Superflat artist whose work draws on everything from historical Japanese art to anime and manga culture!

Please note: One card per person, per paid adult, student, or senior ticket (or one card per membership household) to Murakami: Monsterized on Feb. 8, 2024. The recipient must personally present their ticket at the museum to receive the card. Child and youth tickets are not eligible for this offer. Purchase of a ticket to Murakami: Monsterized does not guarantee purchaser will receive a card. There is a limited supply of cards to be distributed as a gift with a paid ticket to Murakami: Monsterized until supplies run out. Tickets purchased for Murakami: Monsterized are not refundable. Card must be collected in person on the day for which the ticket was purchased. The Asian Art Museum will not ship or hold any trading cards for future dates. This offer is nontransferable.
