Join Roobina Karode, director and chief curator of the Kiran Nadar Museum in New Delhi, and Abby Chen, head of contemporary art at the Asian Art Museum, for a conversation about the exhibition Memento: Jayashree Chakravarty and Lam Tung Pang. They will discuss Personal Space (2001), Chakravarty’s work on view, and its sister piece in the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA). The KNMA is the first private museum of modern and contemporary art in India.

Memento: Jayashree Chakravarty and Lam Tung Pang is on view now through June 6.

Roobina Karode has been the director and chief curator at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) in New Delhi, India, since 2010. In 2016, she was the recipient of the India Today Best Curator award of the year. In 2019, she was the curator for the Indian Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale.
