"Lucky Chow" Screening and Tastings
Indulge in a Taiwanese culinary tour with Danielle Chang, host of PBS’s Emmy-nominated “Lucky Chow.”
Delight your senses and see Taiwan like you’ve never seen it before as Danielle Chang hosts a screening of two “Lucky Chow” episodes. Join Danielle as she joyfully explores how food connects us to one another, one bite at a time.
This event also features a special menu of Taiwanese bites available from Asian Box.
In the five-part series “Lucky Chow,” Danielle immerses herself in the incredibly rich food culture of her homeland, Taiwan. Whether hanging out with indigenous boar hunters and cutting-edge bubble-tea makers, getting in the mood for love at late-night seaport dives, or visiting Buddhist temples where vegetarian cooking becomes high art, Danielle meets with chefs, restaurateurs, farmers, and other food personalities to discover how deeply rooted Asian culinary culture is in our daily lives.
