Enjoy a delicious day at the Asian Art Museum!

To celebrate AAPI Heritage Month in partnership with Asian Women’s Shelter, we are excited to bring you eight jooks prepared by a diverse lineup of some of the most exciting chefs in the Bay Area. Each purveyor will represent jook in their own style, with flavors ranging from classic, homemade “just like ma used to make” to new favorites that put a spin on what a bowl full of comfort food looks like.

Try all eight jooks and vote on each one to help our special guest judges proclaim the winners of the 2025 Jook-Off Cook-Off! Members save on this special event.

Tickets are discounted for members and their guests ($10 Members/ $40 Non-member). Reservations are recommended. Tickets are expected to sell out. Bringing family and friends beyond your daily allotment? Extra tickets are available for $40 a person to enjoy Jook-Off Cook-Off and enter the galleries.

Admission to Yuan Goang-Ming: Everyday War is included in your ticket. Children 12 and under receive free entry to the museum and tickets are required.
