Hip-Hop to Hamilton: Making Art Work
Join us online
These are times of unparalleled stress, as we’ve locked down as a community to curb the spread of COVID-19. For our students, the switch to distance learning and the loss of our usual springtime celebrations have created further strain. Where do we go when we seek escape or comfort? Now, more than ever, the arts are important and relevant to our lives.
Please join Khafre James, executive director of Hip Hop for Change, and Lily Ling, music director and conductor for the And Peggy North American Tour of Hamilton, for a discussion on art in the post-COVID-19 world. Hosted by the Asian Art Museum and the San Francisco Unified School District, this webinar will address the current challenges faced by the arts community, where we go from here, and, most importantly, how our students can sustain their passion for the arts during these difficult times.
