Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is celebrated worldwide by Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs to mark the beginning of the new year according to the Indian lunar calendar.
Sunday, November 2:
- Lecture by Dr. Roobina Karode, Director of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Delhi, presented in partnership with SACHI.
- Coloring and craft activities to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights observed by millions across India and its diaspora.

Free First Sunday invites visitors to enjoy cultural celebrations, hands-on workshops, dance and music performances, food pop-ups and tastings, group tours, and other community events, as well as our world-renowned collection and special exhibitions.
