Exhibition Excursions - teamLab: Continuity
Art Escapes: Exhibition Excursions Edition
teamLab: Continuity with Dr. Robert Mintz, Deputy Director Art & Programs and Kazumasa Nonaka, teamLab
teamLab is a worldwide phenomenon: a Tokyo-based art collective that pushes the boundaries of art and technology to transcend what a museum experience can be. With swirls of butterflies and flowers, crisscrossing crows in flight, streams of luminous ink — all of which react to human presence — this immersive exhibition, exclusively at the Asian Art Museum, is alive with light and feeling.
Our new Exhibition Excursion series invites you to follow our specialists as they virtually guide you through vibrant exhibitions teeming with works from some of the world’s greatest collections of Asian art — including ours! From the ancient to the contemporary, these 20-minute video tours brim with insights into the beliefs, passions, and aspirations that have motivated artists across time and cultures.
After your tour, take part in a live, friendly conversation with one of our curators — all from the comfort of home. So grab your favorite device on Saturday afternoons at 4 p.m. and join us for a new Exhibition Excursion every month.
Tours are free for members. Click on the “Buy Tickets” link to reserve a ticket for the ‘teamLab: Continuity’ virtual tour led by Dr. Robert Mintz, Deputy Director Art & Programs and Kazumasa Nonaka, teamLab.
