This series of 54 short videos, from over 60 artists from places as diverse as Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Mongolia, and Taiwan, explores the role of hope in contemporary art and activism, inviting you to tune into a new kind of multimedia experience from the Asian Art Museum — one energized by joy, resilience, and transformation.
Our new Exhibition Excursion series invites you to follow our specialists as they virtually guide you through vibrant exhibitions teeming with works from some of the world’s greatest collections of Asian art — including ours! From the ancient to the contemporary, these 20-minute video tours brim with insights into the beliefs, passions, and aspirations that have motivated artists across time and cultures.
