About Discostan
Founded by Arshia Fatima Haq and Jeremy Loudenback, Discostan is a living archive, interactive forum, and gathering space for QTPOC of the SWANA region living in Los Angeles. From archiving golden-age music to highlighting forward-thinking musical producers, presenting avant-garde performances, and hosting events to foster political engagement, Discostan offers an ever-evolving space of possibility, imagination, and liberation for immigrants of the diaspora of South and West Asia and North Africa.
