Create Rangoli
Celebrate Diwali at the Asian Art Museum!
Using stencils and markers, create your own rangoli design. Rangoli means “rows of colors.” These bright, geometric designs are created for special holidays and milestones to welcome Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, visiting guests, and good fortune into your home.
The first 50 families will get a rangoli book and bag that they can take home courtesy of SACHI (Society for Art and Culture Heritage of India).
