Non Stop Bhangra brings its award-winning production to the museum to kick off Beyond Bollywood: 2000 Years of Dance in Art.
Voted “best dance party” in the San Francisco Bay Area and celebrating 20 years in 2024, Non Stop Bhangra brings its award-winning production to the Asian Art Museum to celebrate the launch of the Beyond Bollywood: 2000 Years of Dance in Art exhibition.
Imagine a scene from a Bollywood film in the middle of a beautiful space, swirling colors, vibrant rhythms, joyful energy, and contagious beats—that’s Non Stop Bhangra. Featuring dance lesson and dance performances with Dholrhythms Dance Company, the Non Stop Bhangra DJ collective, alongside live dhol drummers, henna, drinks, exhibition tours, and more, the evening will be a treat for the eyes and ears and a one-of-a-kind experience.
Beyond Bollywood: 2000 Years of Dance in Art is co-organized by the Asian Art Museum and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
