Enhance your museum experience with offerings designed for adults with disabilities.
Visit Weaving Stories, featuring textiles from across Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, on this Asian Art Museum Access Day for adults with disabilities. Discover the stories behind these fabrics with docent-led chats and storytelling, both offered with ASL interpretation. Braille printouts will be available to help guide and inform you. We will also limit the number of visitors, so you can have a more peaceful experience, and provide extra seating in the exhibition gallery.

ABOUT ASIAN ART MUSEUM ACCESS DAYS
On Asian Art Museum Access Days, we aim to enhance the museum experience for adults with disabilities. You’ll find extra seating inside and outside our special exhibition galleries and portable large-print editions of artwork labels. We also offer docent-led chats and storytelling, both with ASL interpretation, as well as recorded audio tours and printed versions of audio tour scripts. Wheelchairs and materials in other formats are also available upon request. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the museum.
