Member Preview of Chiharu Shiota: Two Home Countries
The Asian Art Museum invites members to join us for a first look at Chiharu Shiota: Two Home Countries before it opens to the public.
Members see it first! Members are invited to enjoy an advance viewing of Shiota’s first solo exhibition in the Bay Area, featuring sculpture, video, and performance works spanning her career.
Learn about the exhibition with a docent tour at 3 PM. Meet at the Yang Yamazaki Pavilion entrance. Spots are limited.
Member Preview Hours are from 2 – 5 PM.
Members are invited to attend our Opening Celebration on Thursday, Apr. 2.
Enjoy signature cocktails and bites with the artist and the curator in our member lounge and pop up studio. The night continues with a public celebration, including an exclusive Chiharu Shiota: Two Home Countries tote bag.
