Join renowned San Francisco-based couturière and artist Colleen Quen as she unveils her stunning Lunar New Year 2025 Snake Couture Creation, blending nature, spirituality, and vibrant colors. Through her unique paper-cut patterns and live Qigong watercolor painting performance, Quen invites everyone to connect, create, and transform together in a shared experience of cultural appreciation and artistic expression.

5 PM – Quen discusses her design philosophy and creative journey over the past three decades.
6 PM – Watch as Quen brings her fashion designs to life with a live fashion drawing and demonstrates how her paper-cut patterns transform into wearable 3D art.
7 PM – Quen leads a hands-on workshop, teaching paper pattern folding and traditional Chinese watercolor painting. Join in to help paint sculptural paper creations and celebrate creativity as a community!

Quen has been featured in Flair, WWD, the International Herald Tribune, and Vogue France and as a Guest Designer and Judge on “America’s Next Top Model.” Her resonating artistry has led to a decade of costume commissions by the internationally famed Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet Company.
