Takeout Tuesdays: Lunchtime Conversations About Art
In Her Eyes: Paintings from Japan's Edo Period with docent Etsuko Kobata.
“Take out” a taste of art! Join museum staff, docents, and fellow art lovers for interactive lunchtime encounters with selected artworks from the collection. We’ll gather in a Zoom meeting to look closely at compelling works using high-resolution images and learn some fun facts. Each week will focus on a different topic, from Japanese Edo-period paintings to objects related to the celebration of Holi, the Hindu spring festival, to installations by contemporary artists. Simply turn on your microphone to join the discussion.
Takeout Tuesdays will be offered every Tuesday while social distancing requirements curtail our on-site programming.
